Karnataka State Election Commission will publish results of Karnataka Zilla Panchayat (ZP) and Taluk Panchayat (TP) Election 2010 results online at www.karsec.gov.in. The Karnataka ZP and TP vote counting would take place on 4 January 2011.

For the First Time Karnataka Election Commission is using Electronic Voting Machines (EVM) for TP and ZP elections.
The first phase of the election in 12 districts was held on 26th December 2010. The 12 districts are: Bangalore Urban, Bangalore Rural, Ramanagaram, Chitradurga, Kolar, Chickballapur, Shimoga, Tumkur, Bidar, Bellary, Raichur and Yadgir.
The second phase of election in 17 districts was held on Friday, 31 December 2010 and in Gulbarga district on 1 January 2011. The 17 districts are: Chickmagalur, Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, Hasan, Kodagu, Mandya, Mysore, Chamarajanagara, Belgaum, Bijapur, Bagalkote, Dharwad, Gadag, Haveri, Uttara Kannada, Davanagere and Koppal.
